Conditions

The application can be submitted electronically (to the respective coordinator via email) or preferably as hardcopy. In case of admission of the candidate in all cases the originals or verified copy of the following documents has to be sent as hard copy: Application file, Transcript of records, Diploma, Application for Diploma recognition by CTU in Prague.

The application file must include the following documents

Statement of purpose (1 page maximally).
CV.
Officially verified copy of transcript of records you followed in your university of origin (if the document is not delivered in English then the sworn translation into English should be submitted also) – in case one of the schools should be CTU in Prague a hardcopy is needed.
Filled self assessment table of your knowledge in mathematics, mechanics, thermodynamics and technical drawings.
Officially verified and stamped with Apostille copy of your diplomas (if the diploma is not delivered in English then the sworn translation into English should be submitted also) – in case one of the schools should be CTU in Prague a hardcopy is needed.
Photocopy of English proficiency certificate. If the language of instruction of the universities of the first and second year is not English, then the respective language certificate has to be provided. When coming from Partner University the certificate from language teacher from your university of origin is sufficient.
Copy of passport

The committee composed of all partner universities decides about admission/rejection of the candidate. The approximate time of the committee decision is 4 weeks.

Czech and Slovak students willing to study on CTU in Prague have to submit also electronic application via webservis of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and pass the entrance exams!!!

Students who wish to study at TU Chemnitz need to apply for the study course “Automobilproduktion und -technik” at TU Chemnitz in addition to applying for the double degree program. Proof of at least B2 level is mandatory (see Important about MAE -> Languages -> TU Chemnitz).
